Our Mission: Leading Change, Changing Lives

RIALA's mission is to promote choice, dignity, independence, and quality of life for seniors in Rhode Island. We represent the interests of assisted living communities through advocacy, workforce development and professional training.

RIALA is a not-for-profit membership organization that serves assisted livings, senior living vendors, and professionals. We are committed to providing our members with the tools they need to succeed and keep them well-informed and networked together.

Advocacy and Public Policy

The Bradford Group provides Government Relations Services for the association. By working together on a host of subjects, the Westminster team understand the assisted living industry and the issues that affect our members. The RIALA Board meets with our lobbyists in the fall to map out our legislative priorities for the upcoming session, as well as regularly throughout the general session. They also advance issues and monitor committee meetings throughout the year. 

   
RIALA is a state partner of Argentum and subscribes to Argentum's core principles. The principles encourage consumer choice, quality care and accessibility for all Americans needing assistance with long-term care. RIALA works closely with Argentum as a source for change within the high growth senior living industry, providing information, education, and administrative tools that enhance quality at every level.
